We rely heavily on the generosity of others as we receive no government funding or grants.

Bear’s Paw It Forward RCN20204560 based in Cork, Ireland began as Santa Paws
Christmas Drive and was founded by myself Rose on October 31st, 2017. As CEO of the charity I’m employed by Bear and Bonnie to get everything orginised and sent out.
• OUR MISSION •
Our mission is to relieve the suffering of animals and the prevention or relief of poverty or economic hardship. We will be supporting animal rescue homes and other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of abused, neglected, abandoned or homeless animals by providing much needed food and supplies. And by supporting organisations and groups that help homeless people with animals in their care by providing much needed aid to these groups. We intent to support rescues/shelters and organisations that
support the homeless with pets across Ireland
I originally thought that helping rescues/shelters and organisations that support the homeless with pets might help a little but as requests for support continued in large volumes in the months that followed, a change of name was definitely in order. And of course the true inspiration for all of this was Bear, a dog like no other, he is our once in a lifetime, a perfect example to prove all propaganda false when it comes to bullybreeds. Bear, a rescue and is one of the softest, most empathetic and loving beautiful souls I ever met and I’m honoured to be his human mum. And this is his charity, to paw it forward to all who need it the most, so often forgotten by the governing powers that be.
And along came Bonnie in October 2019, Bear’s sidekick. Our mini jcb bulldozer
Staffie rescue who snores like a Harley Davidson on steroids!!.
She organises her Hugs of Hope care packages for all those furkids who need a little more TLC and ‘a little love goes a long way’ appreciation boxes for the amazingly kind, brave and selfless earth angels in rescues/shelters. All furkids are someone just like all someones who help them and all deserve as much support as we can possibly give.
In February 2022, we added another care package, Tucker’s Trust equine care package.
A tribute to my late father in law who had an infinity with equines and wanted to be reincarnated as one.
I do this on a voluntary basis and actively work to bring as much to the table as I possibly can whilst juggling family and life. Our house and shed is normally full to bursting point at times with food and supplies but I wouldn’t have it any other way and grateful to have a very supportive and understanding family.
But I couldn’t do much without the help and support of others, our followers, friends, companies and businesses across Ireland and the world. We are all very different but have hearts that feel the same when it comes to furkids and those homeless with pets.
